Scribbles : artistically right

During the second half of the 19th century, scribbles and doodles have appeared in art

This approach of sketched drawing opens new outlooks. Sketches made intentionally are always tonic and  authentic. Cy Twombly, Jean Dubuffet and Jean-Michel Basquiat used it with talent.

Drawing loops frantically is so exciting. This rather automatic and instinctive writing fits both children and adults. Unfortunately, adults do not consider usually that “scribble” is “art”. Let us prove the contrary!

The other advantage of this approach, and not the least, is simply to relax, to push away one’s tensions. So here is an easy way to free our creativity.

I suggest testing the work with young and adult people.
So here’s how to do it.

Suggested topics: nature and camouflage.

First, choose pages of different colors, scribble these pages as it seems to you, even with several pencils at the same time. Take care with color harmonies.
Then make your setting up by cutting shapes like Matisse did when he cut colored papers.
